Connect your Fotolia account to get started with Adobe Stock

The Fotolia website is closing on November 5, 2019. After that date, you won't be able to access your Fotolia account including purchasing or downloading assets from the Fotolia website.

After being acquired by Adobe, we are consolidating both Fotolia and Adobe Stock sites to focus development efforts on the Adobe Stock service that is a more streamlined service as well as deeper integration with Adobe Creative Cloud applications. If you are eligible for the online transfer and migration offer, you can migrate your unused downloads and credits over to Adobe Stock.

The Adobe Stock Transfer and Migration Offer gives eligible Fotolia members the opportunity to convert their unused Fotolia credits and/or downloads from their monthly subscription into Adobe Stock credits and/or downloads, giving the possibility to license at least 2 times more HD images.
Additionally, your Fotolia license history, lightboxes, galleries, and other account information will transfer to Adobe Stock account. For more information…Transfer and Migration Terms.

When you transfer your Fotolia subscription account to Adobe Stock you have access to Adobe Stock standard assets, which not only covers the majority of Fotolia's core collection of photos, illustrations and vectors, but also includes other Adobe Stock standard assets in the template and 3D collections. The offer excludes Adobe Stock Premium content, videos, and editorial content.
When you transfer your Fotolia credits to Adobe Stock, you have access to all the asset types offered on Adobe Stock, including standard images, Premium Collection content, videos, templates, 3D assets, and editorial content.

You can visit the Adobe Stock website to search and license assets directly within your browser, just as you would on Fotolia. You can also search, manage, and license Adobe Stock assets within your favorite Creative Cloud desktop applications using the Libraries panel.

Adobe Stock credits are a currency used on Adobe Stock to license any type of content. You may use your credits to license standard images (a standard license = 1 credit and an extended license = 8 credits), HD video (8 credits), 4K videos (20 credits), Premium content (5 to 50 credits), templates (1 to 5 credits), 3D assets (1 to 50 credits), editorial images (5 to 50 credits), and editorial videos (8 to 25 credits).

An Adobe Stock standard asset is any photograph, vector, illustration, 3D asset, or template that isn't part of the Premium Collection. Adobe Stock standard assets are always provided at the highest available resolution.

An Adobe Stock standard license is the equivalent of a Fotolia standard license. See the full Adobe Stock license terms here.

No. You do not need to purchase an Adobe Stock subscription in order to transfer your Fotolia account over to Adobe Stock.

When you start the transfer, you'll be redirected to stock.adobe.com, where you'll be asked to log in with your current Fotolia credentials. You'll then be asked to either log in to your existing Adobe account or create a new one. Once you confirm the transfer, we'll transfer your remaining credits and/or monthly subscription downloads to Adobe Stock. Your shopping cart, lightboxes, and galleries will be converted to Creative Cloud Libraries. Assets you've already licensed on Fotolia will be included in your Adobe Stock license history. (Note that some asset types not supported by Adobe Stock — such as some videos and Infinite Collection assets — will not appear in your Adobe Stock license history.)

Fotolia credits are converted to Adobe Stock credits at a ratio of 5 Fotolia credits for 1 Adobe Stock credit. 1 Adobe Stock credit enables you to download 1 image in its highest format. That means fewer credits, but more HD images for you.

Fotolia monthly subscription downloads and unused downloads are converted to Adobe Stock downloads at a ratio of 1 Fotolia download for 2 Adobe Stock downloads.

Your lightboxes will be converted to Creative Cloud Libraries, using the same names they had in your Fotolia account. Your license history will be accessible on your Adobe Stock license history page.

• 1. Your Fotolia license history will be migrated to your new Adobe Stock account.
• 2. Your Fotolia lightboxes, galleries, and shopping cart will be converted to Creative Cloud Libraries.
• 3. You may still access your Fotolia account details on Fotolia.com until November 5, 2019.

With the transfer of your license history to Adobe Stock, you should be able to re-download most of the assets you licensed from Fotolia.com. Due to some technical limitations, however, not all assets licensed from Fotolia will be available for download from your Adobe Stock license history, including but not limited to some videos and parts of the Infinite Collection. If you need to download these assets again, you'll need to contact Fotolia Customer Service to re-activate the download link in your Fotolia license history.

Adobe Stock downloads and credits that you receive as part of the transfer and migration offer are valid for one year from the date they were added to your Adobe Stock account.

Your Fotolia monthly subscription expires immediately and all the downloads for the remaining monthly subscription period are transferred to your Adobe Stock account using the ratio mentioned in a previous question.
Purchasing additional Adobe Stock credits will have no impact on your Fotolia subscription.

Fotolia support remains available, until at least through November 5, 2019, for any additional queries you have regarding the transfer. Your Fotolia credits and/or downloads will be converted to Adobe Stock downloads according to the terms described above.

It is not possible to transfer your Fotolia account to an Adobe Stock Team account via the online transfer option. Please contact the Adobe Stock support team to transfer to a Team account.
