After upgrade from 11.1 updating any published collections (to disk) is very slow and gets stuck.  One or 2 get published, then progress stalls

Re-installing 11.1 solves the problem.

Publishing to Smugmug using the LR plug-in.  Same process and procedure I've used hundreds of times...including multiple uploads/publishing prior to upgrading LR.

I'm running Windows 10 and publish regularly to Smugmug diectly from Lightroom using the Smugmug plut-in.  After updated to LR Classic version 11.2, publishing no longer works.  The publishing progress bar displays, but progress remains at zero...  I double-checked the Plug-in Manager to ensure I had the latest Smugmug plugin...I do.

I reverted back to version 11.1 and can publish as normal.  I re-updated to version 11.2 and still can't publish.

So I'm back using 11.1 and will continue to do so until either Adobe responds here with a fix, or until they release a version 11.3 with the bug fixed.

Just in the last few days I've started having an issue with publish services in Lightroom, I've been using these for many years without issue.  I thought it was just an issue with the Pixieset service, but then I started to have the same issue with publishing to my website.  It will publish one image then just stop.  I have a 500Mbps upload speed and wired network connection. I've tried restarting Lightroom, the router etc and nothing works.  The only thing that seems to help is a full restart of my Mac Mini.  It will work for a short time then stop publishing again. I don't have any other network issues so I can't figure out what is going on. I even tried tethering to my phone and it doesn't help. So it seems to be a local issue with Lightroom or my Mac, not with the network. Does anyone have ideas?

As a quick update, I reverted to version 11.1 and so far so good, the publishing is working normally at the moment.

I have the same issue, I just got done posting about this then realized there was already a thread.  Just go back to 11.1 and it fixes it, this is an Adobe problem not ours don't bother resetting preferences and all that.

Never mind, I realized this is already a known bug looking at another thread. Adobe loves to make users lose a few hours troubleshooting a new bug.  I'm going to start holding off on new updates for a few weeks since they can't seem to test things.

I'm assuming you're a Creative Cloud subscriber...so just choose to install the previous version (it will automatically uninstall the current version 11.2).Capture.JPG

After installing 11.2 of LRC my smugmug publishing tool would only upload one photo and then go into a loop. It made LR totally unsable for my work flow. windows 10. go to a folder, highlight images to upload to smugmug, pick a gallery in smugmug, click the Publish button, and one image might upload, but no more. I reverted to version 11.1 and the problem went away.

I'd like to help, but my days of managing versions and myriad files are behind me. I'll just wait for 11.3. Glad you could find it. Also, to all the mac users  out there, the issue is the same on my windows machine, so it's not your hardware. 🙂

I am experiencing exactly the same issue with v11.2 when attmpting to upload new images to my SmugMug service. At this morment, I am looking at <Updating Published Collections> in a hung state after adding one new image to a 5-image gallery. I thought I had the issue fixed after making several option changes - but regretably it remains - and it's annoying that seemingly small issue stalls production for me. The hung state lasts for a long time so ususally I just close LrC and then reopen and start over again. Can I get in on the NDA trial?

You're probably aware that the consensus is that you should revert back to version 11.1 and wait for the release of 11.3 and hope they fix the bug with that update...

In frustration with the issue in V11.2, I have reverted back to v11.1 where I never had any issues.

Yes Same here. Windows 10 and after LR 11.2 update all publish services that are online hangs after 1-2 photos published. If set to publish hard drive to hds publish is ok, but like google drive (online mirrored folders) it hangs.
After restart LR it publish 1-2 photos and hangs.
Reset preferences not helped!

To get back to work, uninstall LR 11.2 and re-install 11.1. You can do this
easily from the Adobe Creative Cloud app on your PC.

I have the same issue with LrC 11.2 and publishing to Smugmug.  I reverted to 11.1 and still have it!  The Drobo (external file storage) is still writing contantly!!!  (That was triggered in LrC 11.2.)  How can I stop it!!  Do I have to reset Pref's in addition?  Going nuts with this!

My experience with the issue is on an iMac running Catalina - so my
comments reflect working with that OS.

I too had the same situation with LrC v11.2. In my case - whether right or
wrong, I ended up using Force Quit to stop LrC.

When I clicked on the X in the Publishing Collection bar, it turned red,
but nothing happened other than a message indicating it was cancelling the
process. For me the (cancelling process) never finished properly and
appeared to be hung. At this point I used Force Quit which would be like
stopping the process in Windows using Task Manager.

Yes this is an abrupt action, but as far as I can tell all is okay because
I've done it a few times without a problem.

Like others, I have reverted back to v11.1 and all is okay for now.

I used the red X before I figured out what was going on and reverted to 11.1.  Maybe there is some process still lurking.  I thought a reboot would fix it but after I boot, the Drobo won't mount.  It's lights come on and look normal but it's not mounted.

I'm wishing I had never upgraded the computer to a supposedly wonderful new M1 Pro MacBook Pro, aparently with the next brand-new buggy OS!  I've been frustrated by bugs for 6 weeks now!  (I upgraded the OS to 12.2.1 several days ago.  Not sure which came first, that or the LR update.)

OK, now I'm REALLY in trouble!  If I quit LR normally, the incessant writing to the Drobo stopped, and when I started LR it would start again.  So I tried a FORCE QUIT and the Drobo keeps being written to.  Starting LR again doesn't stop anything.  And the box that shows and gallery update going on isn't there.

HELP!!!???  I'll uninstall LR again...

Have you tried unmounting the Drobo drive? If case you're not familiar here
is the process:

1. - In the Disk Utility app on your Mac, select the disk set that you
want to unmount in the sidebar.
2. - Click the Unmount button in the toolbar or beside the disk set name.
3. - Disconnect the disk member that you want to unmount.
4.
