About
Description

«Choieongho», designed by Hangeul type designer Choi Jeongho, is a Serif typeface. The design was requested by Ahn Sang–soo in 1988 and turned out to be the posthumous original drawings by Choi Jeong–ho. Based on these original drawings, we developed the AG Choijungho Std type in 2017. AG Choijungho Screen is a font that redesigns form and balance so that it looks even on the screen based on AG Choijungho Std. We have simplified the shape of the Buri and end of stroke, and made the thickness of the horizontal and vertical stems visually similar. The shape is simpler than that of the AG Choijungho Std, but the elegant impression has been adjusted to feel the same. Just like Hangeul, the Latin alphabet has been refined so that there is no distortion on the screen based on the AG Choijeongho Std, and is designed to complement each other’s characters when they are multi-script in harmony. AG Choijeongho Screen is composed of 2,574—Hangeul letters, 296—Roman Alphabets and extended Roman Alphabets, and 776—symbols including punctuations.
