Description

AG Namsangjun is a Latin font based on the original intention of Hyeok-pil’s Master Nam Sang-joon. * Hyeok-pil (Rainbow calligraphy) is one of the traditional calligraphy in East Asia.
The AG Typography Institute wanted to test the possibilities of Hyeok-pil with Nam Sang-jun, and the result was AG Namsangjun. AG Namsangjun has a strong and unique impression through the proper harmonization and reconstruction of the basic structure of the Latin alphabet and the decorative elements of Hyeok-pil. AG Namsangjun is designed in two types: Plain with one brush and Striped with a four-pronged brush. The Plain typeface has the the dynamic flow of Hyeok-pil, while the Striped typeface is closer to the bamboo pen, and it has a more straight impression than the Plain depending on the characteristics of the tool. Both type families support the default Latin alphabet and some extended Latin alphabet 261 characters and 123 symbol characters—a total of 384 characters.
